Alt Tuning

Pretty much all day when I go to alt tunings it is really good but this evening at same volume I could hear

reg tuning playing lead parts in with alt tuning. Any thoughts. Used a 1/2 down and couple others. Like I said yesterday

and most of today did not hear it, it was really good. I recorded a solo and played it back and it was ok.

Somewhat confussed why all of a sudden I coud hear standard tone in with alt tune tone. Not very good sounding.

    Well I had made a couple of alt tunings (2)  I did the altuning reset for all tunings and it is fine now.

    Hope this isn't a problem. This is my second one. had knob trouble with first one. Great guitar when

    working properly.

      Well unplugged the guitar for a few minutes and plugged it back in a same problem described earlier

      did the reset but did not work this time.  Came with flash 1.71 updated it to 1.90 when I got it was fine. I

      took back to1.71 problem still there took it back to 1.90 still have problem.  Was Made 12/01

      Very frustrated

        Are you talking about a JTV, as I don't think you can flash old Variaxes to 1.90?

          It is a JTV59.  I had it at a moderate volume to practice and at that level I did not hear standard

          tuning with alt tuning for a couple days after I got guitar. At same volume I started hearing it.

          I reset alt tunings and it was gone. I unpluged guitar and when I went to use it again you could

          hear stand tuning in with alt tuning again at same volume. I have recorded direct and with a mic and it is

          not on recording. I raise volume up and you won't hear it as much but is to loud just for home practice.

          In a nut shell curious why at practice volume I didn't hear it all and all of a sudden at same level a

          couple days later I did.  Hope this makes sense. Love the guitar.
