Hi guys

Wondering if any of you could lend some advice on archeiving a solid hi gain tone with a EMG 81-7 pick up. Everything I try ends up coming across as too thin, and I just cant get the same results as I have been getting in Pod Farm (Thanks to the 4 band eq)

I have looked on youtube and tried up countless custom tones but nothing seems to suit. Most I have found deal with Blackouts or passives, or the old tried and true 81/85 combo.

I am using a ESP LTD SC-607B.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
