Hi, I am very pleased overall with my LD300 and have used it for several gigs. The only thing is, it's heavy, and for small to medium gigs, I thought I might as well go into the desk via the LD300. Then I wondered, if I was going to do that, do I need the speaker cabinet at all? I've detached the speakers and taken the amp out, and would like to use just the amp for it's sounds, and DI straight into the PA, meaning I don't have to carry the cabinet - will this work? I mean, could I damage the amp by running it with no speaker attached?
