Saving user presets on the Spider Floorboard

I'm new to guitar effects but enjoy playing around to find combinations I enjoy. My problem is that despite reading the manuals several times I can't work out how to save my own user defined presets for future use. I think I have 3 banks of 4 channels on the Floorboard, but could somebody please explain in simple terms how I save onto them. Many thanks to anyone who replies.
HI
The way and amount of saving pretty depends on which Spider you are using....
The Floorboard doesn't work with all the Spiders...so I think you might have a Spider 2?
Anyway...the Floorboard will only reflect what your amp settings are...the FB doesn't save any settings...just controls the ones you make....
Which amp dp you have?

Hi, thanks for replying.
On the cabinet it says Spider 212 100 watts 2x12 Stereo.
It has a maroon colour facia.
The Floorboard just says Line 6 Floorboard
Thanks for the info...
As said...the FB will reflect your settings and creations from the amp.....
The FB does not have any FX...it's all on your amp...
Enjoy!

+1 to Bluestone
It would be helpful if you provide which amp and floor board you are using.

Hello,
This information is correct. In addition, see panel 4 of the Spider (I) Manual to review the programing information. Remember that all the tones and effects are stored on the amplifier, the pedal only tells the amp which preset to go to.
