i keep getting crackling noise when i play my midi controller (akai mpk61) im running reason and have a studio pod ux2 it also records the crackling/popping.

i have no problems with audio ie guitars, bass, vocals.

if i disconnect and play with no monitors it seems to be fine

any ideas what might be wrong?
