Jtv-59 switch

Hi all some time ago my awesome jtv-59 developed a slight switch problem, it had a crackle when you switched between the pickups, not a major problem at the time and as I was using it every gig I couldn't spare the 2 weeks plus without the guitar .....
My questions are:
1-can I get a replacement switch from anyone else?
2-I got the guitar from a local line 6 reseller, what happens if I go to them with the fault? Will they just send it back to line6, will I have to pay the transit cost?
3-the switch should be covered as my guitar is only 6 months old?
4-can line6 send me a replacement switch and can I fit it, it's not that hard.... Without losing my remainder guarantee
Thanks
Still an awesome guitar, looks like I need another :-) as a spare
Anyone want to buy/swap a jtv for a musicman sport lol
If I knew it wouldn't hurt the axe or circuitry I'd spray with contact cleaner? That used to/still does work on regular switches! I'm new to these axes so don't do it till an expert replies!
Yeah had thought of that after all its only a 3 way switch...... Just with loads of line6 goodness attached
I suggest you open a support ticket to work directly with Line 6 on this. Under the Support tab at the top of this page, select Contact Technical Support. Then make the same selection on the subsequent page.
There were problems with the 3-way switches on some early JTV-59 units. Only Line 6 can tell you, based on serial number, whether your guitar qualifies for a replacement switch, and how to go about getting it.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
