Community: I'm trying to connect my POD to the computer but it doesn't work, what I should do?

I'm trying to connect my POD to the computer but it doesn't work, what I should do?

Hey guys! I'm from Brazil, and I bought recently a POD HD 500, and I'm trying to connect it to the computer to record some stuff but it says that there is nothing connected to the computer, the Monkey says that I need to update my drivers, but when I do it, it keeps the same warning that I must update my drivers... The POD HD 500 edit don't recognize it as well, and I don't know what to do! Can somebody help me, PLEASE?

What platform are you on? The only time I've seen this happen is on mac, but a reboot of the pc fixed it for me. Works flawlessly for me on Windows.

  I'm on a Windows XP, usually the computer makes a sound when you connect the POD to the computer, and it DOES make that sound. However, when I try to connect it to the Monkey, it doesn't work because I need the drivers, I download the drivers and it keeps saying that I need the drivers!

Are you trying to update the drivers with the POD connected to the PC, because I'm sure I've seen somewhere that it doesn't work properly.

Try running Monkey and updating your drivers without the POD connected and see what happens.

  I tried, but it didn't worked as well. I really don't have a clue of what I have to do to make it work! I guess I need the drivers to connect the POD directly to the computer, right? There's any other way to record without microphones on the computer? HELP!
