Jaqzi
Hi Line 6 Community! I've been playing around with my HD500 for a long time and it keeps interested as possibilities are almost endless. I came across a few ideas but have no clue of how to execute them in my effects unit. Is it possible to create an effects loop within the pedal itself in order to have a 100% wet effect which at the end would be blended in with untouched dry signal? In addition to that, I was curious if it's possible to stack effects without affecting the dry signal as well. For example if I want distortion only on my delay effect and not my original signal. Is it possible in this piece of modern technology? Thanks for your replies! EDIT: Figured it out. Very simple. I just had to create a dual amp setup and set panning of both amps to 0. Then I had two separate signals: one for 100% wet effects and one for dry. Worked out perfectly!
duncann
Another way to get a dry signal without resorting to limiting the effects chain is using the digital output. There's a setting in the system menu that allows this. Of course, you'd need a digital input somewhere along the line.
pfsmith0
Also, many of the FX have mix controls. Use the pedal to change the mix from 100% to 0% on ALL the FX of interest to get wet/dry sounds, respectively. It saves on DSP horsepower that a dual-amp setup uses.
