grverdun
Hi guys, I'm actually using Pod Farm with UX1, but I would like to use it with another interface (Tascam US122); I recently noted that it's possible to buy Pod Farm hardware independence, even if it is suggested to use Line6 products. Do you have any counter-indication in doing that ? Should I download the full software again or it's possible to buy the license to free the plug-ins to be used with any other interface ? Tks for help ! grego
silverhead
No counter indication that I am aware of. The hardware independent version should work just fine for you. I don't think you can buy just the plugins as a hardware independent subset; the standalone version comes bundled with the plugins - use it or not. silverhead
Forgot to mention - your interface needs to have a true ASIO driver. Avoid using something non-compliant like Asio4All.
Triryche
The nice thing about the Hardware Independent version, is the 30day money back, so you can confirm that it works with your setup.
TheRealZap
not worried about ASIO drivers with a tascam interface... surely they will have ASIO drivers! but yeah, you will need to buy the 2.x upgrade.
