Anyone finding sluggish mixer response when pushed hard?

Hi,

 

I've noticed on a few gigs, particularly when running 2 ipads on the desk and recording the gig on SD, that the response is crazy slow on my M20d.

 

I'm running the full rig with L6linked speakers.

 

Is this a known issue, what can I do to minimise it, as it looks unprofessional when I'm waiting 10 seconds to be able to get into the screen I need?

 

Seems to be on the ipads and the main screen, although 1 ipad is invariably worse (not always the same one)

Using multiple iPads on a network will invariably slow that network. That's a wifi problem.

 

That said, it will work better if used with an external router than a dongle wifi stick.

I've seen the same.  We sometimes have 3 iPads (1 FOH and 2 Monitor) and I record everything.  I have an airport express and it can still be sluggish, even at the M20D.
