sum41freak8733
So I have been using the toneport ux2 for 6 years or so with no problem, i just hooked it up after not touching it for a year, I have 2 types of speakers i have connected the ux2 with regular pc speakers with a 3.5 to the headphone jack (with a 1/4 adapter) and a old home speaker system (Rca Rs2052) with a rca to 3.5 to the headphone jack... now when i hook up my djing equipment everything works fine, but when i hook up the ux2, i cant play any music from my computer because its insanely loud and the levels peak, the output knob does absolutely nothing, and even if i have songs playing really low the levels still peak, in fact the speakers on either one are impossible to play anything out of because the ux2 is just registering everything louder than it really is it seems, idk i have spent 4 days on this and im totally lost, I thought that when i used it before even through the headphone jack i could still adjust the output, but the knob doesnt do anything any idea why any type of media (itunes windows media player) and the vst's like guitar rig 5 isnt sending a proper output? Triryche
Did you try the headphone knob ? Also, I would try the analog outs, which is what the output knob controls and they ate line level, the headphones out can get too hot real easy for going into powder speakers.
