es336td Posted January 10, 2015 Share Posted January 10, 2015 Ran into a problem at a gig last night. I have various tuning set up on my 700. In a low light situation, I selected, what I thought, was the Eb patch... it was not... it was a standard tuning Strat. It dawned on me 1) I'm old and the eyes are failing 2) there has to be something, similar to the FretLight product that I could attach with double sided tape, just above the model knob to illuminate it. clay-man Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 You could try something like that, but ultimately the old Variax isn't going to light up like the new ones.
