Has anyone else put a drive pedal after their amp?

Hey guys,

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried putting a drive pedal(TS) after the amp in their chain?  As weird as it might seem, and you'd never do it in a real setting, I tried it the other day, and man...it sounds great to me.

This was for a higher gain blues thing, like a SRV/John Mayer kinda thing.  It's weird cause you can really hear the clean side of the amp and also the gain from the pedal at the same time.  The only thing is that I noticed that there is a...kinda fuzz around the sound, so you don't get a really smooth tone...just wondering if anyone else has had success doing stuff like that...

Good to know, I will test it. Any good setting do you guys recommend to start?

I dunno man, whenever I use other people's patches, I'm super disappointed. :(  But in a nutshell, I'm using the divided by 9 amp just with some break up and then a tubescreamer after the amp....Tone on the TS is pretty high but the treb and lows are about 50%.  Gain is about 65%.
