delay modeler causes endless troubles: switches don`t work propperly

Recommended Posts

It is already the second Delay Modeler I own.

The first one didn't work properly from the beginning,

same with the second one!

A friend of mine has the same problems.

It was on repair, which i had to pay, same problem has had continued and gets worse and worse.

This stomb box is utterly annoying; you can't gig with it, even usage at home is almost impossible.

There is no sensemaking reaktion from line6 regarding this annoying problems at all.

The policy of this company can just be seen as disgusting.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Or is it just a misconstruction, produced for the garbage can?

Does anyone has the e mail adress of Paul Foeckler?

Does anyone know who is responsible for the distribution in Austria and Germany?

Max

Hey There and welcome to the forums (sorry it had to be because of the DL4).

If it is out of warrenty you might want to open it up and see how the switching is done. I have one but (knock on wood) have not opened it up.

If you see the usual tactile switches (small little square with a little black push button) you might be able to revive it with a shot of De-Oxit contact cleaner. I have done this with some unresponsive switches before with success. This assumes that there isn't a bigger problem which might mean a trip to the shop.

Might be worth a try.
