U-vibe , do you have difficulty to find your sound with this FX?

I recently add the M13 to my pedal board.

I like it a lot.

But i wonder if you guys had difficulty to get a real good Vib sound like the other big name on the market?

I had to add an Phaser FX in front of the U-Vide to get that nice up and down wave sound.

Do you have to do that to?

or something else?

Wish to know if Line 6 will get an upgrade of that effect or add an other one soon.

I have been able to do it but it is tricky. I also own the digitech gsp1101 and it is easier right out of the box. but with the M13 theintensity is either too much or too little. When I use an Xpression pedal I can get the speed about right and then dial back the intesity. however when I want the full on Leslie type effect it is a different story. i wish Line 6 would also fix this. Another issue along the same line is thatthe leslie FX are all full on or full off. Again, on my GSP1101 you can control the speed with a pedal.

I have noticied that this is a rather lazy forum where people tend to ingnore a lot of questions. i will to my part to respond with even a little bit of experience.

So I was messing around with this patch and others last night and found that using the leslie patch on slow sounds more like the classic univibe than the univibe patch. Check it out. It has that nice Hendrix vibe to it. The fast setting gets out of univibe territory though.

On POD XT, I had a similiar experience with U-vibe.  I usually do my monitoring sound through headphones and, when I hit the U-vibe, I just get a poor and low tone.  It's also really ease to feel that the U-vibe does not flow into your tone, I mean, it sounds too isolated, totally far away from your main signal.  There is no color nor blending, as it's supposed to do.  I've been trying the phaser as well, intead of U-vibe.  By the way, that's exactly why I'm looking for a M5, to use it's U-vibe, hoping that it sounds better than the one in POD XT.
