Just got the Hd500x and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to Velcro-ing it on a pedal board.  Can I take the feet off and put the original screw back in without damaging the hd500x internally? Or can I just take the feet and screw off and have the flat surface like that?  (Do the screws on the feet hold the u it together?  Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated thanks.

it was noted in a post some time back - and recently confirmed by me as I changed board layouts - there are 2 raised metal ridges that run the width of the 500x.  Perfect for a velcro mount without having to mess with the feet or some such.

Recently I stumbled across a 3M "hard" velcro, which only has one "side", which interlocks quite securely.  Reminiscent of the old ProCo pedal mounting feet of the 70's/80's.  Found it at Home Depot with the other velcros.  So far, so good with it - but note that I do not transport the board with the pod attached.  Everything else is permanently attached, but the pod gets placed (and locked in) upon setup.
