Anyone else have this problem.   I will be on a patch  (all of them set up with wah) and push down to use the wah....the red light goes on but the unit stops working, turns off and reboots!    Anyone else have this happen to them?   I already tried resetting to factory specs and reloading my patches and it helped for a little while, now its doing it again.......

Doesn't sound good.

Does it do it for any patch or just a particular one?

If it's just one that you know of, try a factory reset again. But this time don't load your custom patches. Instead rebuild the one in question from scratch and then see if it still does it.

If it doesn't, try loading the rest of your patches.

If it does, try it again without the usb cable attached. And if it still does it, is the unit new? Can you exchange it?

have you tried to isolate the issue?

Does the POD reset when the link is disconnected from the DT25?

Is the PSU for the POD well seated in the outlet socket and to the pod itself?

If it is still reseting and power seems good, it would be worth checking the output voltage of the POD PSU with a meter...Should be right around 9VDC

You could also check the house power with the meter...Is you house voltage normal?

My hope if you indeed do have an issue that it's just the PSU going bad and not the POD....If you can't isolate it to a power issue, then I think a Service Center might be a good next step

Its happening on all the patches I made

Its happening in more than one location   (both where I rehearse and at home)

I own a Furman power factor and will try plugging it into that tomorrow.....if it still does it, its not a power issue.

Ok,  weird-   I just plugged it in and have everything connected but no guitar plugged into guitar cable....so not playing and its not doing it?

If you can, make sure to try what spaceatl said and measure the POD PSU output, even it's connected to the Furman.

Also, if the device is out of warranty you could try and disassemble the housing if you're comfortable doing that. It could be something as simple as a bad solder joint.

Or you could try the same if you don't care about the warranty.

Im trying to understand why it would be the psu?  Wouldn't the unit be affected more than just turning on the wah?  I will call line 6 again on Monday for tech support and if they cant help I will have to take it to a service center I guess.

I did check the psu.  It showed 9.2 volts so that's not the problem.
