I just bought an older POD XT on Ebay and once I was able to upgrade the firmware from 1.01 to 3.01 it seems to work fine. I did have to use MIDI to do the upgrade because the old version of firmware didn't recognize USB fully. I am running Windows 8.1 on my laptop. I also have a POD XT Live and it works fine also.
