naccoachbob Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 I have a pair of un-powered Bose 901 Series 2 speakers that I've owned for over 40 years. I want to use them as monitors in the back of the UX2. What all would be involved in setting them up for this use? I'm not even sure they need to be powered. Thanks in advance for any input. Triryche Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 Unless they're active, which I assume they are not, you definitely need to power them with some type of power amp. Did you use the speakers with a Hi-Fi system or other stereo receiver? If so you may be able to run your UX into your Hi-Fi.
