The power amp setting on the DT-25 (topology, class, pentode/triode) defaults to match whatever amp you have in path A when you first select that amp, but they can be set to whatever you want them to be. If you put an amp model in path B, the power amp setting on the DT-25 won't match the amp you bring up (well it might not - you could use an amp model with similar defaults), but it's still being sent through the DT-25's power amp. So you're essentially blending two preamps signals to send through one power amp. You have to decide how you want the power amp configured.
If you want the DT-25 to completely ignore Path B, you'd have to set that in the L6 link settings page. Under the audio portion, you can select what you want sent to each DT-25 - it can be the left and right output (this is default), Amp A, Amp B, or Amp A/B. With just one DT-25, you're probably OK just leaving it left and right, but everything you put in the tone will show up at the DT-25.Go to the full post
