alphadog808
Hey guys, I have a G30 set up and it's been running fine. So well, that our bassist got a G30 bundle as well. Even though we were on different channels(I was on 6, he was on 1) I noticed that when I walked past him while he was playing, it would drop out. I think we temporarily remedied it by making sure that when I walked by the bassist was closer to his receiver than I was. But shouldn't this not matter as we are on different channels? Note, the dropout happened 3 times...always when I walked past him and his receiver...
dboomer
You need to be certain that both units are operating in the same RF mode. New units default to RF2 mode but can be switched to RF1 mode. Units more than 2 years old may only operate in RF1 mode (unless they have been flashed to the updated firmware. Usually RF1 is the best mode for stage bands. Check the FAQ for details. alphadog808
Well, I checked last night, one was set to RF2, the other one is older and didn't blink so I think that's RF1. I changed the other one to RF1 and we'll see if it gets better...Thanks for the heads up.
