I have pod farm 2.5 standard with my pod studio UX1. If I upgrade to 2.5 platinum, will it be still hardware dependant or will I be able to use it as stand alone? Some forums say yes, and a guy from Line6 that replied to my ticket said I need to buy the full verson (so, more expensive than just the upgrade). TheRealZap Posted July 8, 2013 Share Posted July 8, 2013 your current pod farm standard that came with the UX1 was NOT hardware independent. buying platinum will give you all the model packs AND hardware independence... you will be able to use the plugin and the standalone versions.
