polkalock Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 I been playing a Variax JTV 69 since December of last year and I'm still struggling with the sound when I use it live on stage. Some of the sound are way too bassy and even when I adjust the eq on my amp ,which is a Motion Sound amp with a Pod HD500, I still can't get it to sound good. My question to all of you is, could it be the amp I'm playing through, or is it the sound of the models in the Variax, or is it the HD500. I'm not sure what is the best approach to take on this.
