Kopfschmerzen
Hi everyone! I'm thinking about emulating a treble booster similar to Fryer (http://www.fryerguitars.com/pdf/Fryer_Brochure_web.pdf) - freq 3kHz, gain 31dB to 36dB. My only idea is to add two or three EQ effects before the amp, all set to the same frequency (and Q? seems about 55% for parametric), so they would add gain to required value. But what gain settings should I use to get 30+dB boost? In the meantime, I submitted an idea for the effect model: http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Add-treble-booster-model-to-POD-HD/717133-23508 Please vote if you like it. Thanks! Giorgos02
Try 2 parametrics with the exact same settings. 84/% Freq, 100% Gain, 50-60% Q. This will give you a 24dB boost. If you want to go at 30dB boost, try adding a 3rd parametic with gain 70-80% and the same settinings. Hope this helps. EDIT: Also, to be sure of what I am saying or to have an image about how these EQ will stack up, you can download a spectrum analyzer and examine them using white/pink noise. Akeron
You could try the "Q Filter" with an overdrive like the Line 6 Drive or others
