Why Pitch Glide so bad ? :(

I just Try with Pitch glide set a +12  on my POD HD 500X,  with two amps , and a reverb + delay, and its so BAD Friends, the notes is like if im using a RP 200 DIGITECH pedal, or worst,why guys of Line 6 can you answer ? i bought this pedal cuz i trusted in line6 pod hd quality!  or maybe i am setting in a bad way ?, THANK YOU

What are you trying to do with it, exactly, and where do you have it in your signal chain. First of all, it's a monophonic shifter, for the most party. Depending on the interval, you could some polyphonic stuff. It also wants to be early in the chain. You might want to put a compressor or noise gate before it, but other than that, it should be in front of everything else. Also, it's a model of the Whammy pedal, so it was really made to do the pitch bending effects the Whammy is known for while being controlled by an expression pedal.

The pitch glide is not going to make a 6 string sound like a 12 string guitar in case that is what you were trying to achieve. a 12 string has the b and e strings tuned in unison and the other strings tuned in octaves. You can't do that with a pitch shifter.
