johanniklasson Posted May 23, 2015 Share Posted May 23, 2015 Hello I am new to the world of Line 6 and I am wondering if its possible to use the POD HD 500X as a pedalboard infront of an amp? I would like to switch off the Pods own amp simulations then (as an example) assign the FS1 to be a delay that I can just turn on and of as needed. Is this possible? Please excuse my English. sandman69 Posted May 23, 2015 Share Posted May 23, 2015 Yes my buddy does that with his HD500 into his Marshall half. He loves it. I have done it before as well and it works just fine. I usually just go direct into the PA now lately, but it would work just fine the way you are mentioning. And if you want to get more complicated you can use the four cable method and put drives, wahs, distortion etc in front and the time based stuff in the loop.
