radatats
DT-50 - L6 link configures POD automatically Amps (SS and tube) - using guitar in - use combo or stack, whichever sounds best to you. Amps (SS and tube) - using amp FX return - use studio direct PA, console, FRFR - use studio direct. There is no real right or wrong. Use what sounds best to you. No matter what you choose, L6 link will change it when you connect a DT amp.
If you watch Game of Thrones, in the early seasons they always said "Do you speak the common tongue?" And that is a 'true to life' thing. I don't know what language was used back then. For the show, it is English because of the audience. But English, in modern times, is considered the universal language.
CipherHost
For pianoguyy: "Do you speak the common tongue?" Yes, translate.google.com. :) It's not perfect but it is a big help. Cheers! ******************* Hello Zouzou26, I have been playing around using a DT50HD using L6Link to a DT amp and ALTO TS112A active speakers via the XLR outputs. You can watch the HD500X switch to STACK PWR AMP when the DT "boots up". You can then switch it back to Studio/Direct on the Setup page if that is what you wish. It remains so when switching patches. From the Advanced Manual: Resonance Level, Thump, and Decay controls will only be audible when the POD is in Studio/Direct output mode. Note that this Mode setting affects the signal fed to several POD HD500X outputs: Balanced, Unbalanced & Phones outputs as well as USB Record Send & L6 LINK audio outputs. Cheers! I answered his other post in his language. I was talking to Radatat, not the OP, when I said that.
