pwik
On Saturday night I was playing a show when suddenly my HD500X would randomly change the tone I was on. It was almost like the POD had stopped working and I was going straight to the amp (POD is connected to Line 6 DT 25 via L6 Link). If I hit the footswitch it would go back to the programmed tone for a random period of time then do the same thing again. I have all the latest firmware updates installed along with the HD amp models. Thinking of backing everything up then doing a factory reset. Any other suggestions? Thanks
pianoguyy
Suggestion: Your stuff should have been backed up LONG before now. Question: Is it possible that an audience member was reaching up and twisting a knob without you realizing it? Suggestion: Try a power cord for the pod. Question: Were you hooked up to any sort of digital device, such as midi, spdif, or L6 Link? Suggestion: Your stuff should have been backed up long before NOW. Yeah, I said it twice -- on purpose! duncann
Try eliminating the L6 Link connection and see if it still does it. Does it only do this originating from a specific patch, or any patch? If you have access to another power supply source, try that. To truly do a factory reset, you'll have to reflash the firmware, but since it's exhibiting strange behavior, I'd hold off on that. At most, you could try a global reset.
