DarkEdge
So what I mean is let's say that I only use one compressor effect and I use it 99% of the time, it sure would be nice to save that effect already setup with my custom settings and just drag and drop it into my signal path...instead of grabbing the default one and having to set it up each time. duncann
There's really no easy or convenient, or really any way, to do this. Some might suggest setting up presets with some of your commonest default settings and use that as a starting point, but that seems clunky and more effort than it's worth. The new Helix can copy FX blocks at least.
pianoguyy
I don't find it a bother. I mean, I don't have a 'starting point' that I use everywhere. But I use EDIT to drag-and-drop so often that I couldn't imagine it being an issue. Especially if you fill up all 64 spaces and then save the setlist. AlexKenivel
Select a "new tone" and put that comp with your settings in the chain. Copy that preset to all empty presets
