P.S. Something that can help tame your tone is a mid focus EQ with HP Freq to 20#-23% HP Q to 0% and LP Freq to 93%-94% LP Q to 0% and gain 0 for no added volume. This should be placed after the mixer, at any amp. Results will be very nice.

Well since this is about EQ tips the new global EQ has Q control from what I have read online and understand it as what ever frequency you have it set at you are boosting or cutting out the Q controls how big or round the wave form is..  Low settings IE .05 is more precise of a cut in that frequency where as a setting of 8.0 has a more fuller or rounder wave form.  Some say its like a resonance control for the frequency you are trying to modify..  is this the case or am I misinformed..  thanks for the help

You have the right idea about Q - it controls the bandwidth around a central frequency point - but reversed. So a lower Q would be a much wider bandwidth and a higher Q, very narrow.

Thank you very much that will come in handy.. and I have been thinking backwards results that should help allot sculpting my sound..
