era1004
Hey guys, I'm running into an issue where the output levels of my Pod are extremely low. Recording into Logic, the waveforms are tiny and cranking up the master knob to max still produces low headphone volumes. Currently the Pod output settings are set to studio/direct, but sometimes the Pod just resets to it's normal headphone volumes randomly and setting the master knob to half is perfectly fine volume-wise. Was wondering if this is more likely a hardware issue, or just a matter of setting the audio recording levels correctly. Please assist :(
spaceatl
which outputs would these be? The main outs or USB? Is your firmware and drivers up to date?
era1004
These would be both headphones and USB recording levels, the firmware drivers are up to date but my guess is leaning towards a hardware issue. Not sure how to go about debugging though
panaman
i would check the drive and vol pots, and the pedal. when starting up edit, patches are reset to their last saved state while syncing. if theres a change in volume while edit is starting, it would point in that direction. when i had a similar problem on an earlier firmware, like no vol at all on some patches, it helped to go to the tuner and back, my guess was the values are reloaded when exiting the tuner, so firmware or flash update related.
