ac2884
Hi I notice the 1/4 inch mono input is significantly louder than the rear 1/8 inch AUX stereo input, ( and Bluetooth ) however the processing ( I think ) on the 1/4 input appears to make the iPod song for eg, sound terrible. My question; How do I strip all eq using the tone editor to make the signal as 'raw' as can be in order to provide a more pleasant sound Thanks in advance AC
phil_m
What is it you're trying to do exactly?
ac2884
Use the 1/4 in input as an AUX input
fflbrgst
The Aux input bypasses the preamp section of the amp. The 1/4" input may seem louder due to the gain setting, which of course will muddy up the sound. Use the iPod controls to adjust volume when using hte Aux input. ac2884
so, i got a cable = stereo 1/8in to mono 1/4in , stripped the EQ off a tone on my amplifi 150 and .. they appear to be identical volumes and nearly identical level of clarity. this was comparing it against bluetooth input and 1/4in guitar input. if i increase drive on the guitar channel it does give more volume, but at the sacrifice of clarity. this was a waste of time getting the cable and etc. just use rear 3.5mm aux or bluetooth stream thanks AC
