hey guys,

I just bought a pod hd. I downloaded line 6 monkey and the license manager. I registrated my device. I have read that you can use pod farm with an hardware device, so I tried to download pod farm, but the download did not work, so I downloaded the demo version of pod farm. When I start pod farm I'm told that no license was found. What can I do about that? Any Ideas?

thanks for your helf :)

best regards

Johannes

I am pretty sure they don't work together. They are different products serving different purposes.

I did a little research and POD Farm worked well with older POD models especially the X3 Live but not with the newer HD series.

My info came from this older post:

There could be an updated thread where this changes but I couldn't find it.

Pod Farm 2.5 - the hardware independent version - will work with the Pod HD acting as an audio interface. But you are right that Pod Farm does not make use of the Pod HD modelling technology. In this case the Pod HD is simply an audio interface. For best results you would send a dry guitar signal (no amp or FX) through the Pod Hd to Pod Farm for processing inside your computer.

Ah, this makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.
