Normann2
Hello everyone, I use Cubase SX to record (guitar) and a Pod XT Live via USB as my PC Soundcard (for every use, also not recording related) with speakers plugged in the Pod's earphones out. My problem is: I set the Driver ASIO to Pod XT Live and everything works fine. But if I want to record what I'm hearing from my computer i.e. a backing playing on Youtube I don't know how to do that. In Driver ASIO I can also pick ASIO DirectX Full Duplex Driver and ASIO Multimedia Driver. On my PC there's a built-in soundcard named Realtek High definition auido. Hope I explained well my problem, ask me if not! Thanks everyone.
Triryche
The best way is to import the backing track into Cubase.
Normann2
The best way is to import the backing track into Cubase. The problem is that I don't have the backing track: I would like to record it from youtube. I know one can download the mp3 from a video, but that's not the point. Thanks for replying.
