perop6
So, I just got done with my exams, and decided to record some riffs I've been piling up. The problem is, when I try to record my guitar into my DAW (ableton live 9), the recorded signal has no sonic info past 10 kHz. I've tried disabling all EQs and cranking the treble and presence in pod farm to the maximum setting, but there's still a straight up cutoff with no frequencies past pretty much exactly 10kHz. Could it be a problem with my guitar (which I doubt, because the cutoff is so accurate) or the UX1? I've got no other guitars to plug in and test it with. Triryche
Is it the same if you pass just the dry guitar signal thru?
fflbrgst
It definitely sounds like there is a low-pass EQ in the chain somewhere. Try a different guitar and/or cable for a start. Download the free Audacity software and try recording to that to see if the problem persists.
