nitroghost
has anyone else experienced blue screening when unplugging their Amplifi TT, or any other Amplifi product from their windows computer? I was recording guitar, then when I finished, I unplugged the USB from my laptop and it caused a blue screen. The worse part is I lost what I did. If you had your DAW open when you unplugged your Amplifi, this isn't unexpected. You should close out of any recording software your using before unplugging the Amplifi. nitroghost
shouldn't this be looked into to see what is actually causing this to happen? I don't know any other product that causes this issue when unplugged, whether it's a midi device, sound card or general peripherals. this type of thing shouldn't be happening. phil_m
I don't think it's unique to Line 6 interfaces. I have a Tascam interface that does the same thing. If I were going to take a stab as to what causes it, it's probably because of how the DAW software interacts with ASIO drivers.
