antbass
when using my g70 there is a high pitched noise present at all times in the background, i am powering the unit from my gigrig generator power supply using the distributor box (non isolated). when using overdrive or similar the noise is louder (obviously), is this due to the non isolated power? vorphallack
Power your unit with a different power supply...don't use the daisy chain....i had the same problem and that solved it

WithALoudNoise
Just purchased the G70 and had same high pitched issue. I was using a 9V supply with daisy chain. I switched to the USB power supply that came with the G70 and no more issues. Unfortunately, now the power supply section of my floor board looks like a giant spider. I hate freakin spiders... antbass
i fixed my problem by using the timelord adaptor from gigrig on my power supply, allowed me to isolate and provide enough juice from the supply i was already using
marmenta
My G70 does the same thing and a separate power supply does fix the issue. I was using a one spot and a daisy chain. My G50 did not have that issue with the one spot power supply. Used it for years. Bought an isolated multi power supply for this, but don't have it yet. Hope that works too, but that raises the price point as another item is needed.
wdejong
I was about to send my Relay G70 back, but then decided to check the Line 6 forums. I can confirm that the problem goes away when the device uses its dedicated power supply. It's now dead quiet, so I am keeping it! :-)
