Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know if there was a good way of connecting a POD HD500 with a RC 300 (or for that matter any external looper) and a DT 25.

At the moment I have my JTV 89f going into my POD HD500 then the out from POD going into the instrument in of Boss RC 300 and the Out from Boss going into my DT 25. The problem with this setup is that I cant control the DT 25 from my pod this way.

I want to be able to use the looper with the POD and still be able to use the DT amp from the POD patches.

Is that possible?

Another option:

With one DT25:

JTV 89f > POD > POD L unbalanced out > L of Boss RC 300 instrument > L of Boss RC 300 out > DT 25 effects loop return.

With two DT25s:

JTV 89f > POD > POD L & R unbalanced out > L & R of Boss RC 300 instrument > Boss RC 300 L & R out > each DT 25 effects loop returns.

I don't know for certain, but I don't think this would hurt anything. You might want to wait to hear what the Line6 Experts and/or Staff have to say.

But How will I change the amp models in the DT 25 without the L6 link?

You still use your L6 Link. You just have to adjust for a hotter signal than you normally would. You have the option for Line or Amp for the 1/4 inch, unbalanced outs. The switch is next to the effects pedal. Start with your levels low and experiment.
