Part 7 in my video series is now uploaded

This is the final video in the series and I decided to touch on some of the effects in the HD500X.

I also wanted to demonstrate how well a few analogue drive pedals work with the POD as well.

I've had a huge amount of fun putting these videos together and I hope that they've been informative whilst helping users get the best out of their PODs.

I do intend to start a new series soon so stay tuned and hopefully I'll see you soon.

Cheers,

Peter.

Bravo! on a well done series. I learned a good bit from following these. Particularly the using the Parameter EQ. This was something I kind of already knew but I really only did when recording, not sure why the idea never hit me to attempt to use it live.  But I can say I adjusted these and it killed every single mention of volume level on the guitar from my band mates and I told them nothing of what I did. And I can hear and I do think it sounds better. This has also opened up the concept of fixing the JTV acoustics to be somewhat more usable to correct some of it's acoustic simulations shortfalls. And lastly to be a bit more simple with the rig really can do wonders, often you patches are pretty simple but sound good.

Great job as always Peter. Don't really want to hear that you are quitting though. I'm sure you will come up with something else brilliant to share.

Peter you ever think about doing a instructional video, like more in-depth, for sale series on tone and setup?  I think you quite good at it and I would certinaly buy it. I've only seen one before it and it's pretty good but all analog and bit dated.

Thanks guys,

@ leesteel Definitely not quitting. I've only just started. The plan is a brand new series on the next Line 6 product.

I still love my Hd500X though.

@ Palico I haven't thought about it but you have got my interest. I'd like to hear more from you about this and what kind of stuff you'd want me to cover. I'm definitely interested.

Cheers

Peter.

The thought was around taking key components and cover them in  detailed manner. e.g. Going over average usages and many some specific tones.

Something in the manner of the Guitar Effects Survival Guide.

I purchased that video set and it's pretty good. It taught me some stuff for sure and stuff I was able to bring over to the POD. In ways it's similar to your youtube videos but just a bit more in depth. Anyway, I think you might be good at a similar type of instructional series.
