Volume knob control and L6link

I have an L2T and the Helix volume knob (the big one on top) does indeed control the volume on my L2T connected via L6 Link.

This is exactly the way I want it to work, as the L2T's volume knob is in the back of te unit and pretty unreachable from where I usually stand.

Great ! Thanks a lot deadlocked for your feedback.

I have also a L2T and it is exactly the way of working I was expecting too.

And you confirm that the Volume control Knob does not affect the XLR output, right ?

I went XLR from Helix into one of the L2T's XLR jacks and the volume knob affects the output levels as well. So far I have tried L6 Link, 1/4" out and XLR and the volume knob affects all three of them. The only output I have tried so far that has independent volume control is the headphones jack.

I went back after playing with the Helix some more and found a setting under "Global Settings > Ins/outs" called "Volume Knob Controls". If you set it to "Multi" it does just what the name says: It affects multiple outs. Or you can set it to "1/4+XLR", "1/4", "XLR" or "Digital" and then the Volume knob will only control the output(s) that you specify.

Do you know if you can control the L6 Link output with the volume control, while leaving the XLR output alone?  So, if I use the L2t has a stage monitor via L6 Link, I want to control my stage volume with the knob on my Helix, and leave the level of the XLR alone for the Front of House.

Thanks,

Scott
