Pod Farm 1 Not Compatible With Osx Mountain Lion

Recommended Posts

I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion in order to get Logic Pro X, but as soon as I opened my old project files which used POD Farm 1, I am unable to use POD Farm. I find this frustrating as I need it for my bands EP. I refuse to believe that there isn't a way to get the original POD Farm working with new OSX, and I don't want to just buy the new software as the original software came with my POD X3 as it isn't very fair to me to have to spend more money for something I should already have.

Cheers,

logic x requires 64 bit plugins... which means you will need to upgrade to 2.x

which you do not "already have" (64 bit plugins are one of the features that you get in the upgrade)

i know that pod farm 1 itself will work on mountain lion, you could try some other 32bit daws

apparently there are some 3rd party bridges out there that might help...

i got the info here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5173740?start=0&tstart=0

but to be clear... apple is the problem here... the plugin will work on your OS, just not with logic x

That's the thing, it doesn't work when I open up my OLD project files using Logic 9, just says "Plugin not available". After more research, I should still be able to use the demo version of PF2 with my expansion packs, but lo and behold, they aren't listed.

wrong... you can't use expansion packs with the demo....

i'm not sure if logic x changes the underlying 32/64bit bridge for the plugins...

are you sure that logic 9 is running in 32bit mode?

(right click/get info)
