shredjsx
I have the hd500x I noticed that the file type was different for hd500 patches Can I use them?
Dutchguitarist
Yes you can use them, either just drag & drop the 500 patches in HD500X edit and you are fine or, as an alternative, there is a patch conversion program. pianoguyy
No need for converting them, unless you run into that one particular patch that doesn't work. Just a 'drag and drop' is fine. NOTE: All 500 patches should work on the 500x. Almost all 500x patches will work on the 500 There is a very slight DSP increase in the X, so it is possible that a few won't work. Should you run into one that gives a dsp error, you can open the patch in EDIT while in 'offline mode' to delete one fx block (I usually go with fx loop or volume pedal). As long as it is a DSP error and not a corrupted file, removing one block will make it work.
