when we have wireless for vdi?

Wireless VDI would be a dream come true. It is high up on the ideascale site for JTVs.Wireless VDI would be a dream come true. It is high up on the ideascale site for JTVs. The only bummer of using the JTV with both mags and models and POD control, is not being able to go wireless.

What part of Brasil? I am heading to Sao Paulo for two weeks in august. Last year I stayed in sampa for 3 months. I miss Fogo De Chao, Barbacoa and Jardinera!!! I will be in town for Bourbon Street Music Festival and am staying in Moema so will have a good time!

Will be $$$$

Variax can be powered via VDI. So you will need to use the battery of the variax to power the guitar. What will be cool is if the wireless module can be powered using the variax battery. After that you need a wireless transmiter to send mags audio, another one to send digital data and a 3rd one to receive digital data.

So it's 3 wireless in one lol. look at the price, even if it comes to market someday I'm not sure I'll be able to afford it.

when we have wireless for vdi?
I spoke with Line 6 by phone only days ago and it was confirmed that a wireless solution is constantly being talked about in response to IdeaScale requests. Also while doing some recent internet searches on the subject, I came across some interesting info and thought I'd share. As it turns out, some capable DIYers have solved this riddle.

Hate to burst your bubble, but he's changing models on the JTV manually. It looks like he actually switched models on the JTV first and then stepped on the HD500 to change to a different preset. He is going wireless, but by doing so, he's giving up the ability to control the JTV with the HD500.

I don't know about you guys, but half the reason I like Line6's stuff so much is that I don't have to carry around a duffle bag full of 9v batteries to feed a dozen different pedals. A wireless unit + the JTV battery is already 2 more batteries than I like to be dependent on in live situations...

Just want to add my voice to the choir. Line6, please give us a wireless system that gives the same functionality as connection a Variax guitar to the HD500X through a Cat5 cable. I would buy two of these immediately!

And apparently for the bargain basement price of $1K (choke/gasp), it could be yours if the powers that be can drum up enough interest. See the link in the post above...then get a second job. ;)
