Moving patches from HD Pro to HD500X?

Shouldn't really be any problem. I believe the HD Pro has some connection options the 500X does not, so if any of those are used on the HD Pro and stored in a patch, it might have a problem, or it might not and HD 500X Edit might be smart enough to just ignore or discard the extra info. Have to try it I guess. Other than than the two devices are really identical, just different form factors.

There is also a program I've heard about than can convert between devices: http://line6.com/support/topic/4180-need-help-moving-presets-from-hd-pro-to-hd500/?hl=patch+converter&do=findComment&comment=27341

I have an HD500 and HD Pro and I have the same problem.....Also, there is a link that supposedly has a conversion utility......I have never been able to get it to work for me.......Currently, I looks like the actual utility that you can download is much older version that doesn't convert 500 to Pro.......I've sent emails to the author and gotten no reply........

If you figure this out and get it running please let me know.......As I us my HD500 for developing patches at home and then use my HD Pro in the studio or at gigs..........conversion would be cool.....

This is the conversion utility I use. Thanks to jzab!!

There are several versions listed in the first portion of the web page. Download the version most appropriate for your OS.

Run the utility. It's fairly straight forward to use though you have to pay attention to the type of conversion you want to make.
