POD HD 500x volume loss

So . . here's whats going on . .I'm using my POD with a Boss GP 10 ( for the guitar emulations with my Roland ready Strat ). I'm putting the GP 10 into the guitar In on the POD with the output of the GP 10 at halfway. I have the POD xlr out to a pair of Yamaha DBR 10's and a Behringer Eurorack 12" sub. I use the GP 10 strictly for guitar modeling with no effects or amp models from the unit.

Everything was fine, then a few days ago I turn everything on and the POD has lost at least half of its volume and it hasn't come back. The GP 10 is fine, I tried using the AUX input and the FX return on the POD to see in the Guitar input was bad: no difference in volume.

I am at a total loss as to what is going on with my unit and would appreciate any help/suggestions/insight from anyone who has had a similar problem.

Thanks in advance.

I was playing yesterday with the HD500 and recording via USB monitoring with headphones from the Pod's headphone out jack and I suddenly had a complete volume drop for 1 second and that was the first time in the many years I've been using it. I can't explain what happened but I have an incandescent light in here and it didn't blink so I'm ruling out a power out blip, lol.

Are you the one on the bike in your clip?

That's my nephew riding the bike. I'll try digging one of me up I know I got them somewhere in the hundreds of unorganized video's I've taken, hahaa. At the time I didn't have a bike so my ride was borrowed, lol. I love that gif you put up there. So Cool!

I wish I had a GoPro back in the day when I was really into it, YeeeeeeeHaaaaaaawwwwwwww :)

Ok I found one of me on a laid back ride in the rain one day and put it in my sig line. I didn't really review the whole thing so there might be a blooper of me crashing somewhere in there, LOL.

I just added one of me going down on the track, lol, I wasn't riding my best hahahaha, had a blast though.

I can see how much you enjoyed in your ride in your clip..  sport-graphics-motorsport-643656.gif

--------------------------------

time ago I had an enduro motorcycle sport-graphics-motorsport-788427.gif

I went everywhere with it, even in England from Italy (I crossed the Channel by ferry of course) 2 times..

my then-girlfriend who was living in Italy, a blonde English distant relative of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (see Sherlock Holmes), broke my balls until she convinced me to sell it, because she strongly believed that we would have had a serious accident sooner or later..

think that I risked instead much more by staying just a few days at home by his parents, than in all the motorbike rides I had done.. but I learned what happened unbeknown to me only later when luckily I was no longer there..

her father, rich, crazy, strongly racist and seriously alcoholic, was going to shoot me with a rifle while I was sleeping (reason: an Italian guy with his daughter), I saved my life only because his wife and daughters hid the weapon..

a few months later the man killed himself by hanging..

seems a fiction but unfortunately is a true story

That's one hell of a story "H". Thanks for sharing that. I'm so glad you lived! I love those little gif's hahaa

Loooooongggg Liiiiiiiivvvvvvvveeeee RRRRoooooooooooooooccccccckkkkkkkkkkk!

The video of me going down on the track is on my profile page, lol.

So,is there a mysterious Volume Drop?,if so is there an unmysterious solution? :(

I'm not sure Old Rocker, It's the first time I've ever had this happen and I've been using my HD500 for years now. I don't remember it being complained about a lot here either. Keep in mind I was connected via USB to my laptop recording so maybe something happened in the ASIO part of the chain.
