Recording with stereo condensers?

I've got a pair of Rhodes NT5's. I love them for recording acoustic guitars. Is there a good way to use them with the Helix? There is only one mic input with phantom power yes? Are there any work arounds? I'd keep my Focusrite, but I've never had any luck making multiple audio interfaces play nice.

I should mention that double tracking isn't an option as sloppy as I play...

Well, you just need another mic preamp with phantom power, and then you could use both of them to use the Helix as a recording interface. Plug the output of the preamp into on of the Returns, and you'd be good to go.

It is just for recording, yes ?

You could just use focusrite and make a send to helix.

I dont know why you would use helix for recording with mics... FX are not better that the ones in your DAW and if you need some specific FX from helix you can just send it through after it has been recorded.

I'm assuming he just wants to use the Helix as a recording interface for his mics. It will still work well for that purpose even if you don't want to use any of the on-board effects.

Cool. Then it makes sense. From your first post i just got that you would keep it anyway.

But if you want to use the two mics as a paired set of stereo, you would need two preamps. Using two different preamps would actually kill the point of the paired set. I dont know how much, but it would definitely take out some of the point.
