rhuffman
I just bought a New POD HD today and when I hooked it up to my computers (I tried it on 2 different pc's and my MAC), I INSTALLED pod HDEDIT and I get the message that my POD is not a valid Line 6 hardware. The esn numbers are all zeros. The unit has not been tampered with as it was in a sealed box and the packageing inside of the box were all sealed. What gives ? Email me at rhuffman@telus.net with your response's. Thanks :)
Matt_Brown
Have you installed Line 6 Monkey? Running that often sorts these things out...
brue58ski
Is it an HD500 or an HD500X? Each one uses a different HD500 edit program.
rhuffman
It is the desktop model and i have installed the correct version of the edit program and ran monkey. Monkey says POD is not a valid Line 6 hardware. It shows me the updates that need to be installed and the firmware. I have tried this on my I7, my Quad Core and my IMAC all with the same results.
