Skynnyrd
I have just purchased a POD 500x and already own a POD HD Pro rack unit. My question is this and I have looked everywhere for this but why does the 500x not recognize files created on the HD Pro as I wish to take the tones I have created in the studio and transfer them to the 500x. I see that the extensions are different but there has to be a way, I even tried changing the extension but alas that did not work. Looking for an answer; Skynnyrd

Skynnyrd
Thank you so much man that is sweet and really easy to use, although it still makes me wonder why Line6 just didn't do this as units except for the X are the same. Life is now easier. Cheers; Skynnyrd
pianoguyy
Save yourself the time. Just load the files into your HD500. Only convert the ones that give you a problem. Even the ones that give you a problem, some of them can be loaded into EDIT in offline mode, and can be edited so that it does work. I.E., when I have a patch that doesn't work. I open in offline mode and remove something like a volume pedal or fx loop (because I do not use either). And then save the file. It should then work. Actually, the four rack/x and pedal/x devices are all very similar. But the 300/400 and the 500 are way different from each other. Much as the others are all different.
