Ok... my new xd-v30 has a nice sound and a stable signal ... This impressed me positively.

Unfortunately, however, it seems that a small poltergeist has taken control of the on / off button:

if I press the button (2 seconds as the manual says), the blue LED will turn off, but after about 30 seconds (or sometimes even a minute), the microphone turns on again by itself.

Not even blocking the microphone with the "lock button" after turning it off, you can prevent this from being switched on again.

The only way to turn it off permanently is to remove the batteries ...

It 's really annoying ...
Should I call Mr. Thomann in person or an exorcist?

It seems to me, "Mack The Knife", that your particular "poltergeist" will need to be exorcised by a new XD-V30 handheld, replaced under warranty, ...as some corruption to its factory-installed firmware is likely to be involved.

You should just return it and get it replaced

Yesterday I sent it back to Thomann. Now I just hope I do not have to wait too long!
