The belt clip on my brand new Relay G70 snaps off the transmitter way too easily. When I pull the transmitter up and off my belt, sometimes the belt clip just snaps right off even though I am not pulling obliquely or anything. All it takes is one slightly imperfect pull and SNAP - it's off the unit. And once it's off the unit, the clip it is pretty hard to get back into position. Even worse, it scratches the paint right off the unit, especially while trying to get it back on. I'm very disappointed in the belt clip design. (I also own a G50 and the belt clip is way more rugged - you couldn't do anything to that thing, although it has battery door issues, which is why I bought the G70). As others reported above, once it's snapped off, the clip would be easy to lose - especially during the heat of the moment on stage. And I would not want to have to struggle with trying to get the clip back onto the unit between songs during a performance. I'm in complete disbelief over the entire belt clip design and hope against hopes that Line6 has come up with an improved-design retrofit. Comments? Thoughts?

I got one of these for all my transmitters...

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000P4D8G4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Before I had the pouches, I did have the clip come off a couple times. It was kind of my fault, though, as I forgot I had the guitar plugged in still while trying to take it off. I've never had it come off under just normal use. I still like using the pouches and keeping the transmitters on my strap a lot better, though.

Thanks Phil_M - very helpful - I did not know about these and will try one, although:

1) Since I use at least 3 guitars in every show, I can't put my transmitter on the guitar strap unless I go with multiple transmitters. Is that what you do?

2) Which size did you get - the small or the medium? (The medium seems to be a better fit for the G70, although both seem a bit too narrow.)

Also, your Amazon link led me to another transmitter pouch you might be interested in knowing about (made by Levy's Leathers of guitar strap fame) although I'm perplexed by the dimensions on the Amazon page (6x4x1) and I can't find this product on Levy's web site, which is odd:

Please let me know which size pouch you are using for the G70 transmitter, and thanks again for your reply.

I'm using the small... It fits like a glove with the G70 transmitter. It almost seems like it was made just for it it fits so well.
